Pete activated his semblance as quick as he could "Did... You really think that would go well a second time around, Pigeon?...." he said with a weak and breathless, yet clearly furious taunt before quickly grabbed at Mora's foot again...

Mora quickly warped into a shadow and looked down at Pete sadly "This has stopped being fun you know......."Mora grinned a little at Pete "Are you going to give up or do i have to knock you out?"

Pete stood up again, wavering slightly as he did so, turning to Mora and just looking at him angrily "Screw... You... You... cheating... son of a bitch..." he said with venom in his voice, waiting for another chance to strike "Damnit... I... Can't win this... But... Like any cliched action hero... I have to try, damnit!" he though, trying to keep himself motivated...

Mora took the blow flying back with a hard thunk "Owww.."Mora let out a small whimper as he slowly got up. Once he did he spat blood to the ground and looked at Pete "You punch like a girl."

Pete not-so-subtly rolled his eyes "From the types of girls I know, I can take that as a compliment..." he said, trying to taunt his opponent "And if I punch like a girl, then you take one like child with no aura..." he stood his ground, figuring that a more defensive stance would be best...

Mora grinned a little as one of his shadows charged behind Pete "You know pete. Ive always thought you could at least handle your self in a fight. I guess i was right but i dont think you can handle your self ageist some one like me."Mora grinned a little as he readied to warp into his shadow but waiting for the best moment.

Pete sighed, shrugged and and took a more casual stance "Eh, maybe you're right. I give up, you win." he said simply, walking towards Meli and Jett before the shadow could reach him...

Meli giggled "Don't be, a wise man knows when to fold." "Yeah, I guess... Welp, I just need some time to stop aching, then I'll be good to go! Hey, what about you, Mora?" he yelled back "Oh, and no hard feelings about the trash talk!"

Meli gave an awkward smile "Uh... Nothing important... Just... That the loser has to do what the winner says for the rest of the trip..." She said extremely hesitantly "...Lemme guess, Jett, you'll not use that for anything but practical stuff, right?... Like having her take first watch when everyone else is tired or injured? Not using her as bait for a grimm, or... Y'know..."

Meli shrugged with an apologetic smile "I'm not used to travelling on foot, so I wouldn't know, haven't done it since I broke my wing." Pete shrugged and looked to Mora with a silent "What do you think?"...
