Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony] Empty Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony]

Post by Drae Thu Jul 16, 2015 2:48 pm

It was a dark Friday night in the City of Vale. Most of the city was quiet and sleeping due to the late hour, save for the random person walking along the streets on a course for some club or another. On a similar note, our story happens to take place in the downtown area of the city. It is here that all manner of clubs could be found, the ambiance that one would expect only being heard from within save for one rather famous hotspot in particular: Club Summerbass. Renowned throughout the city as being a music lover's haven, it boasted almost 24/7 service, with a full roster of DJs to accommodate this. At this current hour a larger-than-usual crowd was attempting to enter, the familiar sounds of the Club spilling out the door and causing the very ground to pulse as though it had its own heartbeat. The building itself was almost completely filled, with the most center area being a 100 foot square depressed further into the ground than the rest of the place. It was here that most of the people were found. The catwalks on either side gave access to the many tables and few bars that Summerbass had. In one of these corner tables sat a rather large group of young men, and one very excited girl.

"How much longer?" Melody asked the boy next to her. He was wearing the same fan club paraphernalia as the other boys, and he stuttered slightly when he spoke.

"N-Not much longer, Chairman," He said in reply to the Railgun. Melody, being the supportive sister she was, had long been a regular at the bar. Coincedentally, everyone who attended on the same regular basis knew of her sister complex, and as such Melody was respected and feared as DJ Striker's younger sister.

A few short minutes passed, and the lighting in the building dimmed to meet a rather impressive uproar of cheers. In the highest part of the building, directly in front of the depression, was a gleaming table packed with everything any DJ would need, be they an amateur or a professional. The table tended to change color based on the Aura of the person using it as well, which was another added little bonus feature. Such a thing would normally cost thousands, if not millions, of Lien, but the club received it from AegisCorp for free. They were told to accept it as a special thanks from a very happy employee.

That exact employee was the same recipient of the cheering as she stepped up to the table. It turned a bright cyan color as the lights around the booth lit up to reveal the figure of the famed Natalie Aegis. Contrary to her normal outfit, she had her hair down today, and was wearing a blue tank top alongside her skirt. On her feet were black-and-blue boots that lit up with each step she took. Combined with the rather extravagant amount of glitter that the Club naturally seemed to produce despite simply being a normal music bar, she positively shined up at the booth, leaning forwards to shout into a microphone placed in front of the table.

"How's everyone doing tonight?" She asked, smiling broadly as the uproar simply got louder. She laughed with joy before slipping her headphones down off of her ears and reaching down to flick a few switches. Taking a flash drive out of a small compartment within the booth, she spun it between her fingers before plugging it in, her smile still there as the machine booted up to yet more intense cheering. Natalie Aegis. The shining star of Club Summerbass. She was commonly known as DJ Striker in this part of town, and was rather popular with just about everyone. She pressed a few more buttons on the table before raising her right index finger in the air. A custom lighting effect caused a large record to appear on it, the disc spinning rapidly as Natalie made the motion to slam it down on the table. With this motion completed a set 2 hour mix began playing, Natalie adjusting the sound levels as it began.

(The mix can be found here: Warning: Lots of S3RL, per Natalie's usual preference)

Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony] Empty Re: Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony]

Post by Requiem Thu Jul 16, 2015 3:13 pm

While things inside the club would begin to kick off, a certain, grey-furred wolf would be turning the corner of one of the shaded streets some ways outside, and had his head tilted down and his gaze glued upon the screen of his phone while he strolled along in the eve. Numerous, low-toned whines and murmurs rumbled within his throat as he lifted his eyes ever so slightly, glancing around the dimmed area while continuing forward nonetheless. His tail swayed lightly in his path as he walked along, his symbol - as well as the symbol belonging from the line of companies that he himself reigned from, somewhat further across Vale itself towards the opposing portion of the current area - gleamed ever so slightly in the moonlight as it perched upon his custom-made vest. With each and every step, it wavered lightly in the lighting, though these effects were brought to slow pause as the wolf himself gave a rather loud sigh to himself while stopping on the sidewalk. Jesus, where the Hell is it...? I swear, man... If she gave me the wrong directions, I'm gonna blow her school bag up the next time she has class...

As that thought rang through his mind, the canine gave his phone another look, puffing his cheeks out. He scanned the latest text laid upon the screen once more, reading:

Aw, c'mon, you shouldn't even be that far now, so stop whining, you ass! If you just turned the corner, just keep walking until you hit the next street. You should be able to hear the place before you even get close, so just keep walking and hurry up, man! I can't make it tonight, but that club is out of the frickin' world!"

Huffing and groaning lightly, the grey wolf shook his head before resuming his stride forward, tucking his phone back into his pocket and obeying the rather vague instructions that he was given. If she's leading me the wrong way on purpose, man... he thought, speeding his stride up to the next street corner once more. I'm gonna frickin' kick her ass-...

Like he was told, however, he began to hear some somewhat active beats as soon as he came close to the corner, stopping once more for a moment as his ears flicked. ...A'ight, she's off the hook this time... he thought with a small smirk, seemingly recognizing the songs playing even with the distance between himself and the club. The recognition only made him speed up when he began walking once more, and he actually began jogging to the entrance of the club.

When he slipped in and looked around, his smirk only grew in size, and he whistled to himself while spotting the immediate action occurring around him. The sound was drowned out by the music as he stepped further in and wove through the crowd, immediately feeling himself meld into the beats being projected.

For once, though... He seemed to be perfectly fine with being drowned out.

Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony] Empty Re: Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony]

Post by Drae Thu Jul 16, 2015 3:25 pm

Natalie wasn't the only one jumping in time with the songs as the music played. While she kept her hands moving on the table, she was still bouncing in time with the beats, being sure to keep the levels the way the crowd liked them while accentuating each bass hit enough to shake the foundations of the building. After the third or fourth song somebody started hanging out glowsticks, and in a matter of seconds most of the dancing crowd was wearing them. Glancing over at the bar nearest to the booth, Natalie nodded at the long-haired maiden working there. They met eyes and the girl nodded back in understanding before getting to work on the first special of the night.

At this hour it is perfectly normal for the DJ herself to start drinking. However due to Natalie's rather impressive alcohol tolerance she had to take a rather lengthy break from alcohol in general so as to stunt her tolerance to an acceptable level. After all, being a DJ is so much more fun when you're drunk. Natalie spun the discs every so often as she continued to work.

About 32 minutes into the mix she took her hands off the table, making a few motions in the air and causing a few panels to materialize around her. This wasn't merely an effect, but a custom addition to the table that Natalie herself funded. It switched her focus from the beat to the melody, and had a tendency to send her rather impressive fanbase wild when she started it up. They even had a term for it: "Striking". As she started out the song, the crowd got even more riled up. At this point there were people starting to feel a bit drunk, and as such there began a slight level of sexual tension on top of everything else in the room.

Melody merely sipped her drink with amusement as she tapped along to the song, the boys around her overflowing with excitement as they themselves danced. The Railgun had opted not to, choosing instead to let the crowd take it's natural course towards unleashing total anarchy within the building. In fact, the very phrase had become synonymous with "fun times" in the club, so it was almost a nightly occurrence.

Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony] Empty Re: Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony]

Post by Requiem Thu Jul 16, 2015 3:39 pm

By the time that the mix had hit the point that was a couple of minutes past the half-hour mark, Taeseung himself had already sat himself at one of the bars and had downed a good selection of drinks while just losing himself in the music and the sheer energy exhibited throughout the club, the smile that he wore never leaving his lips as the atmosphere seemed to easily and effectively charge his own, already-upbeat persona. Throughout the time at the club, he had cycled through routines; going from joining the crowd and blending in without a single trouble to rave with them along to the music, and then to downing a few good drinks before resuming his own raving.

Caught within his break and recharge sequence, the boy slammed a countless bottle next to the plethora of other bottles, cups, and shot glasses near the bar seat that he practically claimed for himself for the night, his ears flickering constantly before standing straight up as the current tune caught his attention. He glanced over his shoulder at the immediate recognition, grinning widely as he turned around to peer upon the crowds and the colors flashing before him in the spark of the moment. Handing it to Sianna right now... She was fucking right! was the single thought to strike his mind before he stepped back into the crowds, uncaring of the lack of room all throughout the dancefloor as he made another round of shameless and carefree jumping and general moving to the beats of the song.

Per his club nature, he had acquired quite a few glowsticks and even a few neon necklaces and bracelets by then, and, thus, he was practically a one-man light show as he jumped vigorously in the crowds.

...A shirtless, extremely upbeat one-man lightshow.
Somewhere along the line, he lost his shirt. ...Of course, he didn't care.

Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony] Empty Re: Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony]

The crowd roared even louder as the minutes passed and the song the club was named for began to play. Unsurprisingly, a few of the female patrons began to sing along with the song as it kicked into high gear. Natalie even started to dance a bit more actively as it continued, and even when it turned into the following song. However, when the next song began to play she quickly went back to accentuating the beats. Due to her unique kinks, she quickly find that her breathing was becoming slightly more erratic as she slammed down her now-empty glass. Feeling an unfamiliar buzz that she already knew so well, she herself slipped on a few bracelets as she continued to play, losing herself in the music as she bounced.

Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony] Empty Re: Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony]

Post by Requiem Thu Jul 16, 2015 4:04 pm

With the next song that played, Tae practically began to kick into overdrive himself, pumping his fist into the air constantly while he continued bouncing up at down, yelling out to his heart's content enough to just barely hear himself over the music, seemingly screaming some sort of incoherent yet obviously pumped gibberish into the atmosphere like basically everyone else around him was doing. Alongside gaining a sudden adrenaline boost from the sheer power of the amount of activity that was practically shaking him to the core with each and every beat and bass drop, he seemed to gain even more height with each jump that he took, managing to catch a glance over the sea of heads around him - which, because of the amount of energy that everyone seemed to be giving, as well as the overall upbeat atmosphere, seemed to be a rather difficult feat up until then since those around him were all bouncing along to the music shamelessly and enthusiastically.

It was midway between several of his next jumps that he seemed to finally catch a glance – a faint one, though one that still counted – at the girl stationed at the DJ booth. Although he never lost his own energy while raving with everyone else, his mind seemed to take a sudden pause. …I feel like I’ve seen her somewhere or something…

Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony] Empty Re: Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony]

Post by Drae Thu Jul 16, 2015 4:20 pm

Natalie quickly downed her second full drink as the room began to heat up considerably. There was a thin layer of sweat on her skin as she laughed gleefully, her cheeks slightly red as the bass thumped into the building. As the barmaiden went back to go replenish Natalie's drink, an occurrence people were beginning to get used to. As the songs rang through the air and the patrons began to get even more riled up with each passing second, the young DJ was slowly beginning to feel her rational thought slowly slip away with each drink she downed. At this point enough time had passed that Neon Genesis was playing, and a larger amount of people were stripping off shirts due to the nearly overwhelming amount of heat in the room as of the current moment.

Back in her corner, Melody was leaning back, her entire form relaxed as she slammed down another empty glass with a heavy sigh. "Haa~ that's nice..." She breathed, her words ever-so-slightly slurred as she got up to go get yet another serving of whatever drink she had found on this particular night. As she wandered over to the bar, she caught a glimpse of a certain wolf faunus bouncing in time with the beat. Melody smiled softly as she tried to place him.

Mmm... wasn't he one of Cor's buddies? she thought as she momentarily stopped.

Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony] Empty Re: Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony]

Post by Requiem Thu Jul 16, 2015 4:36 pm

Even through the constantly flashing lights and the vigorous, ongoing movements of the neighboring rave participants around him, Taeseung kept his gaze upon the girl afar for a few moments while pondering to himself - all while keeping his spark up, of course. ...........Seriously, I feel like I've seen her before... Goddamn, I know her face, but I can't place it with a frickin' name...! he thought to himself, spinning the glowsticks within either one of his hands in a swift, somewhat flashy manner before beginning to absentmindedly and instinctively begin to twirl both of them all around him, emphasizing the standalone light show that he was once again. Soon enough, though, he turned around and began to move away, keeping his movements ongoing yet sly as he smoothly wove and danced through the crowds on the way back to the bar.

Unknowing of the fact that Melody was rather close by, he slid up to the very same seat that he had taken up time and time again earlier that night, smirking and tossing his glowsticks onto the several shirts that he had taken off, and, by then, were simply hanging securely on his seat. He ordered yet another drink to add along to the countless one, flashing his server a quick, toothy, and enthusiastic grin before beginning to down a good portion of it.

...Aaaaaaaaaah, let's see~... I'm pretty sure thaaaaat-... he began to think, though cut himself off halfway, all while still consuming his drink. Oooooooh, that's riiiiiight~. She goes to Beacon, too... I remember seeing her around a lot...also remember hearing this same mix blasting out wherever she was sometimes... What was her name again...?

A few more moments passed before he seemed to remember that piece of information, connected it to some information and conversations that he had with his own parents in regards to some of the other big-name companies and whatnot that were known throughout Vale in addition to Ion Industries itself, and then seemed to piece everything together.

At the realization, he choked and slammed his bottle down while seeming to fully and finally realize where he was - not in even the slightest of a bad way, but just from the level of sheer awe that the place had given him a first impression of, and, alongside, the first official encounter that he had with something affiliated with the Aegis name.

"DAMN, Mom and Dad weren't frickin' kidding when they talked about them...! ...FRICKIN' AWESOME!"

Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony] Empty Re: Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony]

Post by Drae Thu Jul 16, 2015 4:54 pm

As Natalie continuously downed drink after drink her younger sister took to taking a set next to Tae. As Melody herself ordered a drink, which took way too many tries than one would expect, she spared another glance at the man besides her. As the server placed the drink in front of Melody, yet another song began to end only to be replaced with another one. The air was steadily becoming very, very heated and it was becoming rather stifling.

In her drunken state, Melody silently muttered a complaint before slipping off her own red t-shirt. She heaved a relieved sigh as she felt a few degrees cooler almost immediately. She leaned forwards and rested her head on the counter as she was served her drink, the server kindly asking if the poor girl was okay.

"Mmm... yea. I'm fine," Melody moaned in response as she reached up and grabbed a hold of the glass before slowly lifting herself up. It took a few moments for her to contemplate how to go about drinking it, but after a few minutes she managed to take a slow sip of it.

Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony] Empty Re: Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony]

Post by Requiem Thu Jul 16, 2015 5:02 pm

Around the time that he fully recovered from his little spurt, Taeseung coughed lightly before taking another, completed downing of his bottle, ridding the rest of its contents before slamming it down on the counter. When he did so, he slid around in his seat, spinning around to face the backs of the crowds and leaned back to rest both the upper portion of his back and his arms on the bar that was then behind him. It was then that he noticed Melody after she sat next to him, and he eyed her with a smirk while noticing her clearly drink-imbued behavior.

".......Melody, right?" That question came after a couple of moments, and he gave a somewhat loud laugh while raising his voice over the music, which, at that point, probably made it so that he was screaming just to be heard. While it took him some time to connect the younger Aegis's sister with a name and identity, he seemed to find little to no trouble in recognizing Melody herself, having spotted her around Beacon, as well, and making the connection between her and her sister. "Dude, this place is fucking awesome! Your sister is fucking amazing at the DJ booth~!"

Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony] Empty Re: Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony]

Post by Drae Thu Jul 16, 2015 5:16 pm

Melody smiled as she replied, "Sissy is amazing at everything," She said calmly as she took another sip of her drink. A little while passed as she just watched her elder sister get the crowd even more riled up with each passing second. After at least ten minutes Melody was taking a rather large gulp of her drink, due to her being almost completely hammered by this point. Throughout this whole time she had been talking about her sister, and gulped down her drink as one of the last songs of the mix started playing. She slammed it down on the counter with an excited grin on her face as she looked to her sister.

By this point it was rather obvious that Natalie was feeling rather heated, most obviously due to the heavy bass beats to most of the songs. However, when this particular song began playing the crowd seemed to have turned on some sort of backup battery. The tension in the room skyrocketed, and it almost hurt to have ears at that current moment before the song made itself known as one of Natalie's premiere favorites.

So much so that it only took a few moments of the song before the young DJ stripped off her own shirt as well, displaying a bra of the exact color everyone kind of expected of her. At about this same time a portion of her fanbase almost fainted from blood loss, including her sister. Per the expectation, Melody had needed to put a hand up to her nose shortly after joining the crowd in chanting the word "Strip" repeatedly for the few moments it had taken.

With a small laugh, Melody leaned back against the counter and ordered yet another drink. She seemed to be drunk enough that she didn't really care about what her sister was doing, but her gaze made her feelings rather clear.

Natalie was currently on autopilot right now, losing her rationality a lot more now than she had been earlier in the night.

Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony] Empty Re: Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony]

Post by Requiem Thu Jul 16, 2015 5:24 pm

All throughout the speech that he had unknowingly asked for, Taeseung just stared at Melody and listened to what she had the say, beginning to smirk and snicker quietly - not because he doubted anything that flew out of her mouth, but because of the fact that she was practically ranting by a certain point. Midway into the sudden overhaul of information that he was given, he ordered drink after drink in a continuous chain, sipping and quickly finishing each one off from speech start to speech finish. He merely grinned at the younger Aegis before the suddenness of the beat's volume blasted up, and he immediately shifted his gaze over to the DJ booth.

While he did so, he was midway into another sip of what seemed to be an endless plethora of drinks that he had gotten his hands on, and he, yet again, choked and coughed at the sight unfolding before him. Contrasting to how an action like it would be taken in a negative manner, he actually recovered pretty quickly and started laughing, releasing a long, loud whistle while yelling something at the DJ in a seemingly pumped and encouraging manner.

Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony] Empty Re: Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony]

Post by Drae Thu Jul 16, 2015 5:38 pm

Natalie whooped and hollered loudly as the song continued, the flush on her features becoming more pronounced even after the song ended and the next one began. Throughout the rest of the mix she would reach varying stages of excitement alongside the crowd, and after a short while there weren't very many people left in the building who were still wearing a shirt. Some of the female patrons had also opted to go completely topless, much to the joy of the men nearby. After the mix finally ran down and ended Natalie immediately switched it out with a shorter, 55 minute one.

"Enjoy this one guys, it's that time of the night," Natalie informed the crowd of her break as she mix stared. She slowly stepped off of the booth and moved to near where Melody and Tae were sitting, ordering another drink and sitting down. "How's your night been, Evelyn?" She asked the waitress politely. She was sitting straight up despite being uncomfortable.

Evelyn laughed lightly as she replied, "Not as good as you it seems," she said as she started on the DJ's drink. They exchanged a few more words as Evelyn completed Natalie's drink and handed it to her. Natalie took a sip as Evelyn gestured towards the pair who had been watching her. "Also, those two have been talking about you for the past twenty minutes. I'm not surprised though, cause of Melody," She leaned in to whisper in Natalie's ear, "But that guy is kinda cute. He's not your boyfriend is he?" She asked.

"Wha- No! I don't have a boyfriend, Evie, how many times do I have to tell you that?" Natalie responded, slightly shocked at the other girl's question as she took another sip of her drink.

Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony] Empty Re: Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony]

Post by Requiem Thu Jul 16, 2015 5:48 pm

Around the time that Natalie had begun to walk over, Tae quickly turned himself back around in his chair - though unknowing of the fact that the girl was approaching. His mind was set on a single, straight path forward as he obtained possession of yet another drink - this one a full bottle of a somewhat stronger variety of alcohol, as per his request - and lifted the opening to his lips, remaining oddly quiet in the otherwise blaring club night for a few seconds as he chugged a good portion of it down. While it wasn't empty by the time that he released it, he had slammed it down back onto the counter next to the rest of his belongings, heaving a rather loud sigh of both exasperation and pleasure from the drink before whipping back around in his seat yet again, taking hold of his glowsticks and arming himself for another round of shamelessly bounding around the dancefloor.

Before he fully slipped off of his seat, though, he caught sight of the DJ herself, giving her a slight, toothy grin while pointing one of the glowsticks that he held at her - though not in a rude way, of course. "You. Are fucking amazing," he praised her in a straightforward, yet upbeat tone waving his glowstick a couple of times before standing up. Once more, he gave each stick within his hand a good, swift spin, causing multiple circles of multi-colored lights to flash by his flanks before he continued, chuckling in a confident manner. "I barely hear anyone who can drop beats that kicked as much ass as the ones that you gave earlier. It was fucking amazing~!" he said before reaching back behind him again, taking another quick swig of his drink.

Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony] Empty Re: Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony]

Post by Drae Thu Jul 16, 2015 6:16 pm

Natalie laughed yet again as she nods to Tae, "Definitely the first time I've heard that line. Care to tell me your name?" Natalie requested, smiling at Tae as she spoke. Evelyn rolled her eyes with a small smirk as she went to wiping the bars down for a few moments as the music kept up its set. Melody was humming along to the cover currently playing, and considering what little hints her Aura gave as to her semblance it wasn't too surprising.

Natalie's legs were resting on the bar around the bottom of the stool she sat on as she sipped her drink absently. She only felt a little loose, but it was enough that she was quite a good deal more carefree than usual. "Cause y'know... Despite what some people think, I know a fair amount of the regulars here, and from what I'm seeing from you already I get the feeling you'll be here almost nightly."

Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony] Empty Re: Raise the Roof [S.S. Chaotic Symphony]

Post by Requiem Thu Jul 16, 2015 6:25 pm

As if pondering for a moment, Tae puffed his cheeks out in a childish yet carefree manner, eventually sticking his tongue out before flashing another, nonchalant smirk at the DJ's direction. He shrugged. "Maaaaaybe not really nightly, but probably pretty often when I have the chance, now~..." he responded thoughtfully. "I got a place at a club myself on the other side of Vale - like, literally the other fucking side - and, although this place kicks so much ass, I still gotta patronize my own home base instead of another's."

He paused to take yet another sip, sighing heavily into the atmosphere while leaning further back into the countertop behind him. "Buuuuuut, to answer your first question... Name's Taeseung Kyon.
